The ruins of the
Veléte Palace
This one storey high
building lying by the northern side of the village is of medieval
origins and did not serve religious purposes. Worth to pay attention
to the carved stone console protruding on the corner of the
building, which used to uphold the balcony. According to the written
documents the lord of the village, that is the bishop of Veszprém
owned a palace here in 1559, which was supposedly identical with
this building. It was ruined around 1590.
