The Civic Guard of Szentbékkálla was established in 1997 on the initiative of the local citizens. The Guard was formed and started its activities with 28 members. Since then the number decreased to 21, but  lately the Association has welcomed some new members.  The most important task of the Civic Guard is to guard and protect the properties of the village and its environment.   In addition to this, our association lends a hand to the organization of other events. Our association is rather well equipped, everything necessary for good work is provided. The Civic Guard changed its name in 2006 and has become the Civic Guard and Village Development Association. We thank our donors and the village citizens for their support!  We hope to continue to cooperate successfully. We count on your support in the future too. Donations can be provided by the directing of 1 percent of your yearly income tax and/or individual payments to the bank account of our association. Thank you!
